Stillman College (1-5) rebounded from losing game one in a 12-inning affair by scoring early and winning the pitching duel. Georgetown College (2-4) pounded out 15 hits in game one, but managed just four in the 2-0 loss of the second game on Friday.

Caleb DeRouen got out of a couple of jams and made his team's third inning run stand as the two Tiger teams split day one of this weekend series. EJ Watson singled to start the third and broke up the scoreless game on a wild pitch from Michael Conrad. In the bottom of the sixth, Treas Wooten scored the insurance run on a Kevin Usselman's sacrifice fly.

These two teams return to action noon Saturday for another doubleheader.
