The middle of the lineup did a lot of damage for Georgetown College baseball Saturday in game one against Stillman College. The Tigers (3-4) got 12 of their 19 RBIs from Dorian Granados, Nick Giambalvo and John Shattles the three, five and six hitters. GC blew open a close game in the third inning and never looked back in a 19-3 win.

Stillman allowed seven runs in the frame, putting the visitors ahead 10-3. Georgetown added six runs in the sixth and three in the seventh in its biggest win of the season.

A mixture of small ball, solid hitting and some timely errors helped the Tigers in the third frame. Ryan Viramontes and Giambalvo got it started with back-to-back singles. Kendall King's sacrifice bunt turned into a hit and created some errors as the game got away from the SC Tigers (1-6).

GC batted around and then some, sending 13 hitters to the plate.

Georgetown had 23 hits and defensively just one error.

Kyle Fieger picked up the win, scattering six hits over six innings and allowing just three runs. He also struck out two batters.
