Georgetown College men's and women's tennis teams took care of business on Senior Day. The Tigers honored lone senior Ryan Simms with a pair of 9-0 wins and a bunch of bagels to go around the courts Thursday against Shawnee State University.

Simms and his doubles partner AJ Berk won 8-1 and then Simms rolled 6-0, 6-0 in singles. The Bears men only took one game in the singles and one in the doubles. Cole McCreary won 6-1, 6-0 over Matthew Bryant.

Everyone else was 6-0, 6-0. The other two doubles matches were 8-0.

In similar fashion, the women blanked most of their opponents. Shae Henry had the biggest challenge, rolling 6-1, 6-2. Katie Eden also won 6-2, 6-0, while no one else lost a game in the eighth 9-0 win of the year. The Tigers also blanked Marian, but stopped the match at 5-0.

GC is back in action for its third match in as many days as the travel to University of Pikeville Friday to close out the regular season.
