Georgetown College baseball alums return Saturday to challenge the new batch of Tigers in a fall contest. Game time is set for 10 am with batting practice at 9 at Robert N. Wilson Field.

"We love this type of energy from our alumni base," said GC coach Micah Baumfeld. "We've been very successful the past decade or so and have a deep history of great baseball teams. I'm interested to see these guys challenge our current group of Tigers.

"It is a great break from practice for our guys and a chance for them to make connections with our alumni. We have our Orange & Black World Series coming up to end the fall season, but this game might be the best one to watch."

This will kick off the weekend of events as Sunday alumni, current players, fans, family, friends of the team are encouraged to swing a club instead of a bat. The annual Baseball Golf Scramble will be at Kearney Hills. It is a shotgun start at 9 am.
