Georgetown College volleyball hit the road for a rematch with University of Pikeville. The Bears came to Georgetown a few weeks back and stole set one before losing in four. The No. 17 Tigers (13-2, 8-2) wasted no time in taking care of business in Pikeville. GC won in straight sets, 25-18, 25-18, 25-21.

An Ashton Meckle kill tied up set one 9-9 and Georgetown went on to scored 16 of the final 25 points. It was another sophomore sensation with a standout game as Jessica Tapp led the offensive charge with 11 kills on 25 swings and just two errors. Kim Bailey was without blemish in seven kills on seven attempts.

Five of Tapp's kills came in set two, including the sideout rally point to make it 2-0 Tigers. She had three kills each in the other two sets. Kassidy Rauh dished out 28 assists.

UPike errors helped to contribute a lot of points to the visitors – 10 service errors, two receive errors and 21 attack errors. Georgetown played fairly clean with just 21 total errors in the three categories combine.

GC is back in action 7 pm Tuesday hosting University of the Cumberlands.
