Columbia, Ky. - The Georgetown College Women's Soccer team lost 3-0 to Lindsey Wilson in the semi-final match of the Mid-South Conference tournament hosted by the Blue Raiders on Wednesday.

Columbia, Ky. - The Georgetown College Women's Soccer team lost 3-0 to Lindsey Wilson in the semi-final match of the Mid-South Conference tournament hosted by the Blue Raiders on Wednesday.

The Tigers hung tough for 80 of the 90 minute match, holding the top seed scoreless before Lindsey Wilson put in three goals to move on to the championship match. Blue Raiders freshman Louise Christensen scored two of the three goals, including the game-winner.

Conference men's and women's soccer honors were presented between matches. On the women's side, Georgetown's Kristen Pratt shared the Champions of Character Award with Rebecca Rube from Cumberlands. Tigers honored as Academic All-Conference were Rachel Cohen, Katie DeVeau, Jessica Dixon, Savanna Evans, Emily Marshall, Sam Owens, Pratt, Krista Shouse, Jessica Velotta, Anna Wiederhold and Andi Wilhoit. Georgetown has more academic honors than any other conference school.

Men's Tiger student-athletes named to the All-Conference team were seniors Josh Johnson and Jarrod Willoughby. Alex Martin and Bill Mercke were honored as Academic All-Conference Award recipients.
