The Georgetown College Women's Soccer Team got "it" out of the way today in a 1-1 tie against Kentucky Wesleyan that included two ten-minute overtimes. At least that's what Head Coach Anthony Chandler is hoping.

"There is always one bad game of the year and I just pray that was the one," he said.

After a scoreless first half, Kentucky Wesleyan's Nora Karvonen scored first at mid-way through the second half before Georgetown tied it up on a goal by Lauren F. Smith with five minutes left to play in regulation.

Although Georgetown out shot the Panthers 21 to 10, it was not enough to get it in the goal. "We had a lot of opportunities and even hit the post four times," said Chandler. "But it was just one of those games where everything bad happens."
