Georgetown College Softball's Samantha Barmore and Jennifer Tarplee have been named the Mid-South Conference Pitcher and Player of the Week. Barmore, a sophomore from Smithfield, Kentucky, has a perfect 4-0 pitching record so far this season. Junior Jennifer Tarplee leads the team in stolen bases with nine this season and has been a solid hitter and fielder for the Tigers. The Cincinnati native also leads in runs scored with ten. The Tigers are 6-1 and host Spalding University on Thursday before opening conference play versus Campbellsville University on Friday and Saturday.
