Georgetown College women's basketball wins second straight Mid-South Conference game Saturday against West Virginia Tech, 69-46, in Montgomery, WVa. The Tigers have gotten hot, winning seven of their last eight games.

Georgetown College women's basketball wins second straight Mid-South Conference game Saturday against West Virginia Tech, 69-46, in Montgomery, WVa. The Tigers have gotten hot, winning seven of their last eight games.

In a balanced attack, Mandi Boykin and Kourtney Tyra, of Jackson County, scored 14 points each as the Tigers improved to 7-3 in MSC and 16-9 overall. Mikkah Rogers, of Corbin, was two points shy of a double-double with eight points and 10 rebounds.

Junior Erin Eagan came off the bench for 12 points, helping GC win the battle of the benches 23-15.

The Tigers return to action 6 p.m. Thursday hosting Pikeville.
