Sioux City, Iowa -  The Georgetown College Tigers made the last match of pool play even more important after losing to Lee University on Tuesday.

Sioux City, Iowa -  The Georgetown College Tigers made the last match of pool play even more important after losing to Lee University on Tuesday.

The Tigers, 1-1, in the tournament now must beat Columbia on Thursday to advance from pool play to the Sweet 16 round to be played on Friday morning.

Lee defeated Georgetown 3-0 with scores of 25-22, 25-21, 25-20 and held the Tigers to a hitting percentage of .072.

Senior libero Amy Barmore (shown left, photo courtesy of Richard Davis) tallied 18 digs in the match, tying Lee's Stephanie Todd for the match-high.

Lee improved to 35-5 on the year while Georgetown fell to 41-3.
