Frankfort, Ky. - Georgetown College continued its dominance of Mid-South Conference Volleyball Tournament titles, defeating Campbellsville 3-0 in the championship match and earning the trophy for the 14th year in a row.  No other team has won the MSC Tournament Championship.

Frankfort, Ky. - Georgetown College continued its dominance of Mid-South Conference Volleyball Tournament titles, defeating Campbellsville 3-0 in the championship match and earning the trophy for the 14th year in a row.  No other team has won the MSC Tournament Championship.

The Tigers won the sets 25-17, 25-11, 25-16 to cap off a perfect 2009 record against conference foes, going 14-0 in regular season and 3-0 in the tournament.

Georgetown was paced by the MSC Player of the Year, Erica Janszen, who tallied ten kills on the night. 

Earlier in the Tigers' semi-final matchup with Lindsey Wilson, senior libero Amy Barmore moved into first place in the school's record for career digs and has 2,680 digs to date.  The Louisville native needed 14 kills to tie the milestone and earned 22 in each of the day's matches.  Georgetown defeated the Blue Raiders 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-16).

The Tigers will advance to the NAIA Volleyball National Championship in Sioux City, Iowa to be held Dec. 1-5.  Tournament brackets will be released on Nov. 21.
