Louisville, Ky. -- Georgetown College's Erica Janszen and Amanda Philpot are the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Louisville, Ky. -- Georgetown College's Erica Janszen and Amanda Philpot are the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

The weekly conference award is Philpot's sixth of the season and Janszen's third.

Janszen averaged 3.9 kills and recorded a .240 attacking percentage to earn both the MSC Player and Hitter of the Week. The Cincinnati senior outside hitter recorded double digit kills in each of the Tigers' four wins last week.

Janszen amassed 20 kills in Georgetown's 3-2 win over University of Mobile (Ala.). She followed with 12 kills in a three-game sweep of No. 23-ranked Lindenwood (Mo.) University en route to earning the Most Valuable Player at the Boneyard Brawl Classic hosted by Georgetown.

Philpot averaged 11.2 assists per game to earn MSC Setter of the Week. The Cincinnati freshman recorded a week-high 51 assists in the win over Mobile and 36 assists each in wins over Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University and Union (Tenn.) University.

Philpot averaged 3.4 digs and recorded six service aces en route to her conference-best sixth weekly award of the season.

No. 6-ranked Georgetown is 36-2 on the season following the four wins. They have won 12 straight matches and have already claimed the MSC regular season title.
