Louisville, Ky. -- Georgetown College's Amy Barmore and Amanda Philpot have been honored as Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Louisville, Ky. -- Georgetown College's Amy Barmore and Amanda Philpot have been honored as Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Barmore averaged 5.3 digs per games to earn MSC Libero of the Week. The Louisville senior recorded double digit digs in each of the Tiger's five matches. Barmore added eight service aces and had just one receiving error in 80 chances en route to being named to the Bruin Classic All-Tournament Team.

Barmore is third in the Mid-South averaging 4.6 digs per game.

Philpot averaged 10.5 assists per game to earn MSC Setter of the Week. The Cincinnati freshman recorded double digits assists, including 43 in a win over No. 23-ranked Dordt College. She added 22 kills and five service aces while joining Barmore on the Bruin Classic All-Tournament Team.

Philpot leads the conference with a 10.9 assist per game average.

The No. 5-ranked Tigers completed the week 4-1 week to improve to 22-1 on the season.
