Louisville, Ky. -- The Georgetown College trio of Amy Barmore, Erica Janszen and Amanda Philpot (shown above l to r) have been selected the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Louisville, Ky. -- The Georgetown College trio of Amy Barmore, Erica Janszen and Amanda Philpot (shown above l to r) have been selected the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

The Tiger sweep marks the second time this season the trio earned the award in the same week. Philpot earns her third player of the week honor of the season and second straight.

Janszen averaged 4.33 kills per game to earn to earn the MSC Hitter of the Week. The Cincinnati, Ohio, senior outside hitter also earns the MSC Player of the Week award. She amassed a .270 hitting percentage while helping the Tigers to wins over three nationally ranked opponents and another receiving votes.

Janszen added 69 digs and five service aces on the week. She leads the MSC with a 4.4 kills per game average and is fourth in the league in hitting percentage (.307).

Barmore, a Louisville senior, averaged 4.95 digs per games to earn MSC Libero of the Week. She added eight service aces and a .969 reception percentage in the Tigers' wins. Barmore ranks fourth in the MSC in digs (4.2).

Philpot averaged 11.86 assists per game to earn MSC Setter of the Week. The Cincinnati freshman added 28 kills and averaged 2.4 digs and a .305 hitting percentage. Philpot leads the conference with a 10.6 assist per game average.

The No. 6-ranked Tigers completed the week 6-0 week to improve to 18-0 on the season, including 6-0 in the MSC.
