LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Georgetown College's Erica Janszen, Amanda Philpot and Amy Barmore are the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Georgetown College's Erica Janszen, Amanda Philpot and Amy Barmore are the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

The trio earns the first weekly volleyball honors of the season.

Philpot, a freshman setter from Cincinnati, Ohio, averaged 9.7 assists, 3.1 digs and 1.0 kills per game to earn MSC Player and Setter of the Week. Philpot earned all-tournament team honors at the SCAD Invitational while recording 44 assists, 14 digs and 10 kills in a 3-1 win over the host.

Janszen, a senior outside hitter from Cincinnati, averaged 3.9 kills per game and 2.9 digs per game to earn MSC Hitter of the Week. Janszen recorded double digit kills in each of the Tigers' four wins in the SCAD Invitational en route to joining Philpot on the all-tournament team.

Barmore, a senior libero from Louisville, averaged 4.5 digs to earn MSC Libero of the Week. Barmore recorded 11 aces in her four matches to help the No. 7-ranked Tigers to a 4-0 start to the 2009 season.
