Georgetown College's Amy Barmore and Jenna Gronotte have been honored by the Mid-South Conference as Volleyball Players of the Week for their positions of libero and setter.

Georgetown College's Amy Barmore and Jenna Gronotte have been honored by the Mid-South Conference as Volleyball Players of the Week for their positions of libero and setter.

Barmore, a junior libero from Louisville, averaged 3.8 digs per game to earn Mid-South Libero of the Week. She collected 12 digs in the Campbellsville win and recorded three service aces in the 3-0 win over Pikeville.

Gronotte, a senior setter from Walton, Ky., amassed 61 assists en route to a double-double -- she also had 11 digs -- in the No. 11 Tigers 3-1 win at No. 19 Campbellsville last week.

Georgetown is 6-5 on the season, including leading the MSC with a 3-0 record.
