Georgetown College improved to 10-1 on the season after winning four matches and the tournament championship at Madonna University in Livonia, MI September 7-8.

The Tigers were led by sophomore outside hitter Erica Janszen who tallied 16 kills and 24 digs in the match against the host school, Madonna, and was named the tournament most valuable player after the final 3-0 win over Davenport (30-17, 30-22, 34-32). She was joined by teammate Jenna Gronotte on the all-tournament team. "It was a great team effort and I am pleased with our road play at this point in the season," said Head Coach Jeff Hulsmeyer. "We had really good and balanced attacks."
