Women's Cross Country - Tue, Oct. 5, 2010
Georgetown College women's cross country team had a good day Saturday in the Greater Louisville Classic. The Tigers' 11th place team finish only had them behind two Mid-South Conference teams.
Elisha Overpeck found herself near the front of the pack in yet another big race. The freshman did not disappoint. In just her fourth race she came in fourth, her lowest finish of the season, behind three NCAA runner's from Libscomb College. She has won two races and finished third two weeks earlier.

Overpeck finished in 19 minutes eight seconds, while Finnja Ramcke crossed next for GC in a time of 21:40 in 71st. Jordan Emmert was 82nd with a time of 21:57. Kristen Synder finished in 22:15 for 102nd place. Maggie Wilson rounded out the Tiger scorers in 109th place in a time of 22:25.

Also running for GC on Saturday was Adrienne Bartlett, 23:41, Mary Dowdy, 23:57, Brittany Ashford, 27:25, and Miranda Schmidt, 27:33.
