Georgetown College football's Alex Kreimer earned Mid-South Conference Special Teams Player of the Week this past week.
The sophomore kicker is a perfect 20-of-20 in extra points and four-of-four in field goals this season. Both marks have him ranked No. 1 in the NAIA. He is also sixth in scoring per game with an average of eight points, 14th in field goals, and 19th in total field goals made (four) and total points with 32.
"I'm really happy for him," said GC coach Bill Cronin. "I'm most pleased with his kicking off this year. He has really been an asset for us in pinning teams back and keeping them from making returns."
The Tigers (2-2, 1-0 MSC) travel to No. 25 Campbellsville (4-2, 3-0) this Thursday for a big divisional matchup.
