Georgetown College's volleyball stormed back from its first conference loss since 2007 by beating NCAA Division II Kentucky State on Homecoming.
The Tigers (16-8, 7-1) rolled in straight games, 25-12, 25-14, 25-22, over the visiting Thorobreds (18-6).
Georgetown was in control for most of the games and even in the third had a big lead before KSU stormed back. The visitor's sided out for a 24-22 deficit, but could not hold serve and ended the match on a sideout.
GC gets back to Mid-South Conference action with a pair of road matches. The team first travels to Lindsey Wilson College at 8 p.m. on Tuesday and then to Campbellsville at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
