Georgetown College football's Kaelin Ammons' earned Mid-South Conference and NAIA Offensive Player of the Week following his six-touchdown, 353-yard day against West Virginia Tech Saturday.
The Frankfort native connected on 21-of-27 passes and found four different receivers in the endzone as the Tigers won 51-16. He only played one series of the second half and has amassed 2,100 yards through the air thus far this season.
Ammons leads the conference in total offense, 326.1 yards per game, and in passing, 300. He is fourth in the NAIA in passing yards per game and fifth in total offense. Ammons has connected on 60.6 percent of his passes, including 25 touchdowns and just six interceptions.
