Georgetown College cross country has an exciting day at Mid-South Conference Championship Meet Saturday.

The Tigers will send three runners back to nationals this year - two guys (Scott Ritter and Brandon Pulliam) and a girl (Elisha Overpeck). It was also an exciting day as the men's team finished second overall for the first time at a conference championship. They scored 64 points and the third place team had 109. Tanner Alexander finished one spot out of the national qualifying marks, crossing in 16th.

Elisha Overpeck finished fifth overall at her first MSC Championship race.

Nationals will be Nov. 20 in Vancouver, Wash.
