Georgetown College women's basketball improved to 3-0 with a win over Mid-Continent Friday in the 2nd Annual Andrew Elswick Memorial Tournament.

The Tigers were led by Ashley Prince's 14 points on their way to an easy 96-58 win. Veteran coach Susan Johnson was not only able to play everyone, but also see all her players score.

Sophomore guard Katie Case hit a three late that gave Tiger fans something about which to cheer. The basket was her first field goal in her collegiate career.

The Tigers are playing the tournament as a classic and will play Southern Polytechnic tonight at 6 p.m. Shawnee State will play Mid-Continent to start the action Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.

That game will be followed by a 4 p.m. consolation game on the men's side of the tournament between St. Catharine College and Southern New Orleans. Then following Georgetown's women's game will be the men in a championship game at 8 p.m. against Mid-South Conference rival Campbellsville University.
