Georgetown College men's basketball team defeated its second Mid-South Conference team in as many days in the championship game of the 2nd Annual Andrew Elswick Classic.

The Tigers (4-0) handed rival Campbellsville University a 90-70 loss. Maurice Pearson and Eddie Gray led with double-doubles, 22 points and 12 rebounds and 12 points and 12 rebounds respectively.

Gray, Pearson and Vincent Crutcher were named to the all-tournament team.

GC returns to action next weekend hosting the McDonald's-Central Bank Jim Reid Classic.

Joining the Tigers in the tournament will be Life University, Embry-Riddle and Texas College. The women will also play with St. Francis, Davenport and Cumberland (TN) joining in the two-day event.

Games will be 2, 4, 6 and 8 p.m. each day with the women playing the 2 and 6 games and the men at 4 and 8.
