Georgetown College evened its Mid-South Conference record with a pair of wins Tuesday over University of the Cumberlands (12-6, 8-4 MSC).

The Tigers (10-14, 4-4) won the first game, 3-0, behind the pitching of Brittany Gunther. The senior went the full seven innings in the shutout. GC's offense came to life in the second game, scoring 10 runs, more than enough to support pitcher Michelle Dresselhaus. The sophomore gave up just one run in seven innings of work for the 10-1 victory.

The Tigers return to action 3 p.m. Friday hosting Midway College.
