Susan Johnson continues to shore up her future low post presence with her second signing of the year, 6-foot-1 Sami Baker.
The senior from Vandalia, Ohio plays for Butler High School. In her junior season she set a record for blocks in a season and shot 52 percent from the field as the team went 21-5.
Baker is a three-year starter and been named Second-Team All-League the past two seasons.
She also has a 4.2 grade point average.
"Sami's best basketball is ahead of her," Johnson said. "She has great hands and good court vision for a post. Her long arms and lateral quickness should be an asset to our press and her ability to score in the post will improve with maturity and weight-training. She is a great fit for Georgetown College as the complete student-athlete, and we're excited to have her."
