In a battle between two ranked opponents in the Mid-South Conference, Georgetown College men's basketball took control early in the second half and never looked back against Lindsey Wilson College, 66-52.
The No. 11 Tigers (17-2, 6-1 MSC) saw a 30-21 halftime lead be trimmed to 34-30 early in the second half. The No. 22 Blue Raiders (14-4, 5-2) were unable to stop Vic Moses in the low post as Georgetown pushed to a double-digit lead.
The Lexington native scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds, while Maurice Pearson added 13 and Tyrone Shelley 12.
Kalen Kimberland led LWC with 11 points.
Georgetown returns to action 8 p.m. Thursday at University of Rio Grande.
