Eddie Gray and Tyrone Shelley led the way with 19 points, while Vic Moses added 17 and Rodney Haddix rounded out the double digits with 12. Pearson had eight points to go with his rebounds.

Wise was led by Sam Eligwe's 23 points, with five threes that helped the Cavs make things interesting on several occasions.

In the other semifinals, St. Catharine will play Pikeville College. Pikeville advanced with an overtime win over West Virginia Tech.
