Georgetown College Assistant Volleyball Coach Casey Steinbrecher has been named assistant coach at James Madison University.

Georgetown College Assistant Volleyball Coach Casey Steinbrecher has been named assistant coach at James Madison University.

Steinbrecher, who has been at Georgetown one season, will serve under new head coach Lauren Sauer, who most recently served as an assistant for three years at the University of Kentucky.

Stenbrecher was a big part of the Tigers' best season in school history with a NAIA National Championship Runner-Up and 45-4 overall record. His work with blocking and defense was an important component to the Tigers' big year. His responsibilities also included individual training, recruiting, opponent scouting, game management.

"I am excited for Casey's future and thankful for all he did this year at Georgetown," said Georgetown head coach Nick Griffin. "It was a special season in so many ways and Casey was an important part of all of it."
