Georgetown College men's basketball has had a good first two days in Kansas City for the 2011 Buffalo Funds-NAIA Men's Division I Basketball National Championship.
After a safe arrival Sunday evening, the Tigers (29-4) have been preparing for first round opponent Olivet Nazarene University (21-11) with walk throughs and practices.
GC will tip off in its 20th straight tournament first round game 9 a.m. CST Thursday morning, or 10 a.m. on the east coast. This past year a local radio station broadcast every game for free over the internet, unfortunately that will not be available this year.
There will be several options to follow your Tigers. The first 30 games will be video-streamed by NeuLion, the parent company of JumpTV. Three different subscription options are available within that 30-game package. First is the All-Tournament pass for $39.95, which includes all events offered by College Sports Direct from all four - Men's and Women's Division I and II - basketball tournaments. Second option is just a complete pass for a singular tournament for $24.95. Finally, a single day pass can be purchased for $9.95. Click here to purchase tournament packages.
There is another option for Georgetown fans with access to the college campus radio station. WRVG is bringing a radio crew to broadcast each of the Tigers games.
Also, receive game tweets by following GCAthletics on twitter or checking out Georgetown College's web page at www.georgetowncollege.edu. A box at the bottom of the college's home page displays the twitter feed.
