Georgetown College football team once again celebrated its Mid-South Conference Title and banner 2010 season Friday at Thomas & King Conference & Leadership Center.
The Tigers, which went 8-3 and 6-0 and advanced to the playoffs for the first time in three years, had a ring ceremony to honor the season's accomplishments.
Former All-American at Louisville and Pro Bowl cornerback for the Cleveland Browns Frank Minnifield, of Lexington, served as the invited speaker for the evening.
The Tigers have opened spring practice, working to building on this past season's success, and will have the annual Orange & Black scrimmage on Thursday, April 28. Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the traditional pig roast.
