Chad Ritchie picked up three saves this past week, helping Georgetown College to a 5-1 record in that span. The sophomore held on to one and two run leads in critical conference games this past weekend at Lindsey Wilson to help secure a third seed for the Tigers (29-22, 16-12 MSC).

Ritchie allowed no runs in 3-2/3 innings pitched and striking out four of the 19 batters he faced. The Lexington native scattered five hits as Georgetown beat the Blue Raiders and Kentucky Wesleyan College this past week.

For the season, Ritchie has a 0.96 earned run average with 23 strikeouts in 18-2/3 innings of work. The sophomore is second in saves this season in the MSC.
