Georgetown College's baseball team finished up the regular season with a 3-1 series win over Lindsey Wilson College this past weekend.

The Tigers (29-22, 16-12 Mid-South Conference) split Saturday's games in Jekyll and Hyde fashion, winning 11-3 and losing 11-6. But turned around Sunday and took two close ones to solidify a third place finish in the MSC West Division.

The Tigers won 7-4 and 6-5 Sunday as Chad Richie came in both times to close the games out. Those two saves plus a save earlier in the week by the sophomore earned him MSC Pitcher of the Week honors.

GC had its bats going in the three wins for 32 hits and 24 runs against the Blue Raiders. The team also had eight runs on 19 hits against KWC.

Following the 5-1 week, including 3-1 in conference, the Tigers sit about seven-hundreds of a point out of second behind University of the Cumberlands. But will get to host a first round home series this weekend against West Virginia Tech.

GC split the series with the Golden Bears earlier this year in Montgomery. First pitch is scheduled 3 p.m. Friday at Robert N. Wilson Field.
