Come out and cheer on the Tigers in the 68th Orange & Black Game.
Georgetown College's football spring game is set to kickoff at 7 p.m. tonight at Toyota Stadium. The Orange comes into the game holding a 34-33 edge in the series.
The traditional Pig Roast is unfortunately cancelled due to a death in the Ray family. Because of that there will be no price of admission.
Leading the Black Team will be Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Year Kaelin Ammons. The quarterback will be tossing to one of his favorite targets from the fall in Coty Minnis. Minnis had 23 catches for 385 yards and nine touchdowns in 2010. Blake Naylor will be at wing back, and was another of Ammons best receivers this past season.
The Orange will be anchored on defense by University of Kentucky transfer Paul Warford, DeAndre Pitts and Andrew Finnerson. Patrick Dougherty, A.J. Jones and Jake Masters will be on the defensive line for the Orange.
Defensively for the Black will be DeVon Pitts and Chaz Morton at defensive backs, Cody Parker and Jordan Shanks as defensive linemen and Brock Messina and Kriegh Holstine as linebackers.
Leading the Orange offensively will be Ethan Diaker and Cole Lanham at the quarterback position, throwing to the Tigers' leading receiving Chris Gohman. Gohman hauled in 10 touchdowns and compiled 628 yards on 34 receptions.
