Three Elizabethtown natives have signed as part of Leah Crews Castleman's 2011-12 women's soccer team freshman class.

Jerrica Scovel and Rami Baldwin played their high school careers at John Hardin, while Jasmine Brissett was at Elizabethtown.

"I am really excited about the potential of these three players," Castleman said. "All three are extremely driven, aggressive players. Jerrica and Jasmine both bring a very multi-faceted skill set to our 2011 roster as they are both field players and goalkeepers. Jerrica has great feet and Jasmine brings some amazing speed. Rami is a solid defender with great vision. I am excited to get them on the pitch with my returning players this August."

Scovel is a goalkeeper/forward combination player, while Baldwin is a defender. The pair helped the Lady Bulldogs to a 38-33-7 record. As seniors they guided JHHS to its first regional tournament appearance since 2003.
