If Derek Willis was excited about his 2011-12 class before, he must be ecstatic now. Three of his rookies will be playing at the highest club level this weekend at the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series in Fox Cities, Wisconsin.
Shelbyville native and defender Matthew Huff will be representing the Kentucky State Champions United 1996 FC in the under-18 group.
Fellow defender Zac Shultz, out of Cleveland, Ohio, will be representing the Ohio North State Champions Cleveland FC in the under-17 group.
Elizabethtown's goalie Dan Rothwell rounds out the Tiger participants as the Kentucky State Champions Javanon SC will play in the under-19 group.
