Georgetown College volleyball jumped back into the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches Top 25 Poll to start the 2011 season. The Tigers (25-12) received 215 voting points and are No. 22 in the preseason vote released by the NAIA Tuesday evening.

The last time they were in the Top 25 was at No. 25 on Sept. 21. GC continued to receive votes all of last season and are the only Mid-South Conference team in the preseason Top 25. Campbellsville and Shawnee State were receiving votes, however.

CU is in the same division as Georgetown and the two regularly contend for the top spot, while SSU won the East division this past year and the tournament championship to advance to nationals.

GC returns the nucleus of this past season's MSC West championship team.
