The Tigers have had numerous accolades since going 8-3 a season ago and winning the Mid-South Conference East Division title. GC opened 2-2 in 2010 before reeling off six straight to advance to the postseason for the first time since 2006.
The Braves have been in the postseason the past two seasons, compiling a 20-3 record. They were 9-2 a season ago behind an offensive threat Clarence Anderson. The wide receiver had almost 1,500 yards on 94 catches with 15 touchdowns.
OU opened the season a week ago on the road at No. 23 Baker University. Despite a close first half, 17-16, Baker rolled to a 41-16 win.
This is the first meeting between the Tigers and Braves.
