Georgetown College volleyball players Liz Goodin and Lindsey Wise earned Mid-South Conference Player of the Week honors as announced Monday. It is the second time this season for Wise and first for Goodin.
Goodin, Setter of the Week, averaged 8.2 assists per game, while hitting .500 in her 22 swings this past week. The Louisville senior recorded 28 and 21 assists in the Tigers' sweep of MSC foes University of Pikeville and Shawnee State University. She also added 13 kills, 11 digs and four blocks.
This season, Goodin ranks second in the conference and 45th in the NAIA with 9.2 assists per game.
Wise, Libero of the Week, averaged 5.2 digs per games with just one receiving error in 28 chances. The junior from Louisville recorded 18 digs in the Pikeville win and added 13 against Shawnee State. She finished the week with a .964 reception percentage. She also added three service aces in the two wins.
This season, Wise ranks fifth in the league with a 4.5 digs per game average.
