The Georgetown College Baseball team will have a short trip to Lexington when the Tigers take on the Wildcats of the University of Kentucky on Tuesday, March 10 at 4:00 p.m. at Cliff Hagen Stadium.

The last meeting between the schools was a 4-2 loss in 2005, Coach Erik Hagen's first season at Georgetown. Ironically, UK's Gary Henderson is in his first season as head coach this time around.

"They are a legitimate Southeastern Conference contender and we're really excited to have the opportunity to play them. We are very thankful and just hope we can give them a good game," said Hagen.

After two wins over No. 22 Ohio Dominican on Wednesday, the Tigers are currently 6-7 headed into this weekend's conference opener at Campbellsville.
