Georgetown College volleyball improved to 13-12 on the
season with a straight-game win over West Virginia Tech Thursday evening.
The Tigers gave up a total of 26 points to the Golden
Bears, as they rolled 25-11, 25-12, 25-13. As a team, GC hit .411 in the win.
Caraline Maher and Allyson Wilbourn led the way with a .667 hitting percentage
for the match.
Stephanie Gurren led with 14 assists, while Liz Goodin
chipped in with 11. This was the first match since the Tigers returned from
Florida where they played three top 15 teams.
In the Embry-Riddle tournament, GC went 1-3, but gave No.
11 Indiana Tech a solid match - losing in four.
Georgetown returns to home action Monday hosting
Cumberland University at 7 pm.
