Georgetown College volleyball improved to 14-12 with a straight-game win over Cumberland University (9-19) Monday night. After being on the road for the past several weeks, the Tigers (14-12, 6-2 Mid-South Conference) returned to Davis-Reid Alumni Gym for the 25-14, 25-17, 25-13 win.

Caraline Maher and Kelsey Luckett led the way with 10 kills each, while Liz Goodin hit .500 for the match with seven kills on 14 attempts. The Louisville native also had a match-high 21 assists.

Georgetown had to battle back in each of the first two games, but dominated throughout in game three to put it away.

"It is always nice to be home," said GC coach Nick Griffin. "We've been on the road for a while and it was really just a pit stop at home for the moment."

The Tigers hit the road Tuesday for a match with St. Catharine, who has yet to lose a home game, and then Thursday to Lindsey Wilson. Both contests start at 7 pm.
