The junior from Georgetown shot a 78 on day two to finish with a 150 for the tournament. He was four strokes back from the winner, Campbellsville's Scott Foster, and one stroke off four players tied for third.
Mingua's opening round of 72 had him tied for second with Foster heading into Tuesday's round.
Georgetown College coach Flash Williams saw his four other golfers finish under 170 for the tournament. Brett Doggett shot a 160 over the 36-hole match. T.A. Wells shot a 164 and J. Morgan Reed a 165 as the other scorers for the Tigers.
Riley Williams also competed and shot a 168 for the tournament.
The women's team did not fare as well, finishing ninth. However, sophomore Katie Jones rebounded from an opening round of 103 to shoot 98 Tuesday. Lauren Van Ohlen shot a 93 to lead the Tigers and finished with a 184 for both days.
