From the brink of elimination to the Mid-South Conference tournament finals, Georgetown College volleyball is still in the hunt for its 12th crown.

After beating Shawnee State University in the quarterfinals (25-22, 25-12, 25-17), the Tigers (20-16) were down two games and facing Campbellsville University (21-14) match point, 24-19, in the semifinals. They roared, denying five match points in the third game and complete the thrilling comeback 23-25, 24-26, 28-26, 25-19, 15-12.

Just four days earlier, GC defeated CU in five games in Campbellsville, igniting this run into the postseason.

Georgetown plays in its 13th conference tournament finals in 13 years against the winner of the University of Rio Grande-Lindsey Wilson College match. Finals are set to start at 3:30 pm Sunday at the Frankfort Civic Center.
