Georgetown College football finished perfect in regular season play. The No. 3 Tigers (10-0) got behind after a first-play from scrimmage went the distance for Belhaven. But just like they have so many times this year, the Tigers responded to take a 10-7 lead it would never relinquish.

GC went on for a 33-7 victory in Jackson, MS and should be a clear pick for a home playoff game next Saturday. The Tigers will learn their final ranking 2 pm Sunday and postseason pairings at 3 pm.

Adam Schmitz scored on a fourth and two that put GC ahead for good. On the day, Georgetown rush for 261 yards. The defense flexed its muscle, holding BU to the lone score on a 79-yard pass play. It also scored the final touchdown, when DeVon Pitts returned a pick 32-yards for the 33-7.
