Family Information:  Cronin's wife Ellen, also an Indianapolis native, is a physical education teacher at Anne Mason Elementary School in Georgetown. The couple have three sons, Kevin, a student at Eastern Kentucky University; Chris, a graduate student at UNC-Chapel Hill; and Cory, a sophomore at Georgetown College.

He is married to Leah Coey Park, who is a human resources manager for Host Communications/Triple Crown Media.  They have a daughter, Neilson.
