Family : Cronin's wife Ellen, also an Indianapolis native, is a retired physical education teacher at Anne Mason Elementary School in Georgetown. The couple have three sons, Kevin, a graduate from Eastern Kentucky University and currently a merchandiser for Ale 8 One; Chris, a graduate student at UNC-Chapel Hill; and Cory, a junior at Georgetown College.
Milestones: Played four seasons as a safety for the Tigers; 41-8 career record; played in two national title games; was captain of 2000 National Championship team; named defensive MVP of national title game; during that span the Tigers won the conference title three years in a row; in 2001 was a graduate assistant for the 2001 National Championship Tigers; played one season as a member of the 2004 Lexington Horseman arena football team as a defensive back before coming back to the Tigers as an assistant coach for the 2004 season when the Tigers were national semifinalist; served as safeties coach 2005 then named secondary coach for the 2006 MSC Championship Tigers; currently serves as recruiting coordinator and secondary coach for the Tigers.
