Georgetown College's dance team brought home some hardware this summer. Returning to dance camp for the first time in several summers, the ladies learned routines and competed against other teams at the camp.

Dance coach Becky Staton will hold a fall try-out for anyone that wants to be on the team. She has it scheduled for Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3 and 4, from 4-6 pm each day in Davis-Reid Alumni Gym. Please wear dance clothing - dance pants or shorts, tank top or dance top and dance shoes.

Tiger Dance Coach Becky Staton has set the dates for tryouts for her 2011-12 team. The Georgetown Tiger Dancers perform at all home football and basketball games. Their duties include performing sidelines, pom and hip-hop routines for football games, while the team performs pom, hip-hop and jazz routines for basketball games.

When: April 30 and May 1st

Where: Davis-Reed Alumni Basketball Gym

Time: 4:00 pm-6:00 pm both days

What to wear: Dance clothing (dance pants or shorts, tank top, or dance top, dance shoes).

Georgetown College Director of Athletics Eric Ward awarded 87 letter jackets to the 2007 Letterman Class in the annual ceremony held Sunday, December 7 at Alumni Gymnasium.
