“My two sons received more attention at Georgetown’s camp than at any of the larger camps around the state.” - Mark Walls, Georgetown, KY

“Our kids love this camp.” - Tim Yeary, Augusta, KY

The Happy Osborne Player Development camp is a facet of our basketball program that we have tremendous pride in. Our philosophy when it comes to developing young players is to allow them to take what they learn in the summer and continue to improve their skill level throughout the year.

The individual attention that we pay to the young people at our camp is a big part of our camp’s success. To us, it is more than a camp, we view it as an extension of our individual improvement workouts we do with our players. we now want to extend these types workouts and skill development sessions to the young people that strive to improve their level of play.

Arrival and Registration

Campers will need to arrive on campus between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 22nd. Registration will be held upstairs in the Cralle Student Center, located next to Alumni Gymnasium. Upon registration, campers will be asked to pay the balance of their camp cost, present insurance form, receive T-shirt, room key, and meal passes.

A camp wide meeting will be held at approximately 6:00 PM at which Coach Osborne will address all campers about the weekend and introduce the camp staff.

Campers are encouraged to move into their respective dorm immediately after registration.

A Note From Happy

We understand that you have other summer basketball camp options, but are confident that those other options will not be as personable nor as organized as the Individual Camp at Georgetown. Our staff will work relentlessly to assure that each camper’s stay on campus is enjoyable and comfortable, while working hard to improve each player’s ability level.

Our camp is the best camp in Kentucky. If a young player wants to truly improve, then this camp is a must on their summer schedule.

Facilities

We pride ourselves on having a clean basketball friendly environment in which you will be comfortable competing. The ultra-modern Student Recreation Center on campus serves as a perfect camp facility. In addition to the Student Recreation Center, Alumni Gymnasium will also be used. What better place to play than the actual court where the TIGERS play!

Parents

Parents are welcome to attend any session that they desire. Parents are also welcome to the cafeteria for meals and to the dorm in the evenings.
