Ashton Deskins Named to All Mid-South Conference Second Team

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Mid-South Conference announced its 2026 baseball All-Conference awards, ahead of Tuesday's opening game of the Mid-South Conference Tournament, with Georgetown senior Ashton Deskins landing on the second team.

Deskins, a senior from Delbarton, West Virginia, secured his placement on the second team All-Conference by leading the league in saves with five.

Deskins won the MSC Pitcher of the Week once this season by picking up three saves in a 4-1 week for Georgetown in late April.

Mid-South Conference head coaches selected the individual awards and all-conference teams by vote. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.
 
Eighteen baseball student-athletes earned first-team all-conference honors, and another 12 earned second-team honors.
